| CutThroat CueSports™ (CTC) is an apparel company for pool players. All the products have been conceived and designed from a passion for pool. The roots of CTC go back to the early 1990’s, when founder Brad Royce was first learning to play and paying for “lessons” from multiple “instructors”. It was during these hard lessons, that Royce became hooked! He began playing 30-35 hours a week and even experienced withdrawals on days when he couldn’t play. It was that passion, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, that drew him to the business side of pool. The initial plan was to open a poolroom in Appleton, Wisconsin, a place with no real Pool Hall at the time. In 1994 he started Atlas Billiards with partner Kevin Dorn. The duo sold cues, ran and promoted tournaments & in-house leagues for a local bar. In those early days, many of the concepts for the new CTC designs were born and remained dormant and festering in the back of Royce’s mind. After a long absence from the pool world, Royce responded to “The Calling”. The lure of the great game; drawn in by “The Weight of the Eight”. Come see what “My World” revolves around. Hello, my name is Brad Royce and I am a fanatic of all things pool. I have been playing (with a high level of mediocrity) for 20 years. I have been fascinated by the business end of pool and billiards for about 15 years and have finally done something about it. Many of the designs you see have been conceptualized for over 10 years. I had the ideas but not the talent. A few years ago I finally set out to have my concepts put to art and made the investment for quality renderings.
